ABSTRACT Building automation systems improve lifetime quality of people and reduce energy consumption. In this study, a building automation module for home applications is implemented to help students comprehend related concepts. Purposed system has some units such as a garage barrier, curtains, led bulbs, an air conditioner, gas leakage sensors, burglar alarm, an air-conditioner unit and comfort applications. To control these units, a control board is developed. Control commands are entered by operator via a resistive touch panel which is associated and programmed for this project. This automation module is used for electrical enginering education especially to execute power electronics applications and building automation trainings.
