Abstract

In this research, it has been investigated the hopelessness levels of students who study at Akdeniz University Vocational School of Social Sciences and whether some demographic variables affect the hopelessness levels of students. 376 students have participated in the research. Beck Hopelessness Scale (BDS) and a personal questionnaire have been utilized in data collection. According to the characteristics of the study group, descriptive frequency and percentage tables of the variables collected by the data collection tools have been created. To investigate the differences between two groups Independent Sample T Test, to compare more than two groups, one-way ANOVA have been applied. To determine which group causes the obtained difference, LSD test from post hoc analysis has been applied.
