Abstract

The purpose of this study was to appraise the relationship between person-organization congruence, person-role conflict and job outcomes of salesperson. Data were gathered from sales force of an international medicine company by using survey. Correlation analysis was employed to verify the hypotheses. The results of the analysis revealed that there was a relationship between organizational congruence and some of role conflict variables and job outcomes of salesperson as well. In addition, relationships also existed between some of role conflict variables and job outcomes of salesperson. The results of studies were discussed and recommendations were provided for managerial implications and future research.
